4 Suicide Bombers Were Killed in Pakistan’s Peshawar Terror Attack

On Friday morning, Four suicide bomber along with a civilian were killed after militants attacked Peshawar’s neighborhood Christian Colony, TV Channels reported. Around 6:00 a.m., a long round of fire is exchanged between the police personnel and an unknown number of suspected terrorists. These gunmen were wearing suicide jackets. Thus, security forces have to make a lot of efforts to cordon the area to continue the underway search operation.

Reportedly, all responsibilities of this terror attack were claimed by the Jamaatul Ahrar militant group. Asim Bajwa, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations confirmed that all 4 terrorists were killed during the Friday’s morning encounter.

The place where the terrorist attack happened was situated on the Peshawar’s outskirts which seem very near to the border of Khyber as well as Mohmand Agency respectively. An Army Public School, A Cadet College, and a FC Training Center situated close the attack place. The colony’s watchman was the first person who saw these militants, the source reported.

The area near Pak-Afghan border is doubted as the cross-border movement of various militants. Tehreek-i-Taliban, one of the most famous terrorist groups made his presence in this area, the sources said.
