Bollywood star Akshay Kumar finally broke his silence over the surgical strike on terror launch pad on PoK. The actor is quite stunned the way grapevine about banning Pakistani actors, debates over the surgical strike is occupying space. And people hardly give damn to the most important issue behind the whole controversy. The people don’t think about the families who lost their father/son/husband in the attack.
The whole nation is talking about whether to ban Pakistani artists or not instead of thinking about the families who still are in emotional trauma after looking their loved ones. The families of those nineteen martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the terror attack by Pak, they don’t care about movies, they don’t care if Pakistani actors are banned or not.
The 49-years old whose father was an Army official posted a video in which he also slammed questions about Indian Army’s surgical strikes on terror launch pads in PoK.”Something which has been on my mind since the past many days and I just had to let it out. I don’t intend to offend anyone… so here I go”, the actor wrote on his social media accounts with a video.
“Today, I am not talkingto you as a film star. I am speaking to you as the son of an army official. For the past few days, I am observing that people are arguing and are asking for proof about surgical strikes. And others are demanding ban on artistes, while remaining fear that it might end up with a war,” Akshay says in the video.
“This is shame on us. The debates can be held later. Firstly one must realise that people have already gave away their breath on the border. Nineteen soldiers died during the attack and a 24-year-old jawan Nitin Yadav died in Baramulla,” he said.According to the Rustom star the families of the jawans who lost their lives don’t care about the banning of Pakistani actors.
“Are their families, or the families of our thousands of Indian army men, worried whether a film will release or not? Whether a Pakistani actor will be banned? No, not at all. They care about their future. They need condolences. And our concern should be to ensure that their present and future is better. Debates just dont worth it right now. I am, because they are. You are, because they are and if they wouldn’t have been there then India won’t be existing. Jai Hind.”
