Various countries like US allow in flight WiFi connectivity.
Globally, many airlines across the world offer WiFi for the travellers but as per the Indian airlines norms they have to switch off their mobiles phones, laptops etc as soon as they enter Indian airspace.
The WiFi connectivity can be provided to the passengers through satellite or air to ground connectivity. And in both the cases the latter will be more costly.
