Google on Tuesday, unveiled its new flagship premium devices – Pixel and the Pixel XL. The two devices will be the first ones to be sold out under Google’s brand name. Google, this time, has also given a change to its pricing policies keeping it high. The two devices will have 5.5inch Quad HD AMOLED Display. Google Pixel and Pixel XL phones sport an aluminium unibody and they also feature polished glass finish at the back. Both the phones come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor.
The smartphones sport 12.3-megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX378 sensor, a large f/2.0 aperture, 1.55-micron pixel and PDAF. Both sport an 8-megapixel front camera with a Sony IMX179 sensor, 1.4-micron pixels, a f/2.4 aperture which Google claims to be the best.
The two phones will have a storage capacity of 32GB and 128GB. Most important of all, the two Pixel smartphones will be running Android 7.1 or Android Nougat which is the latest from Google.
Pre-orders in India will start from 13th of October. The smartphones will be available on Flipkart, Croma and Reliance Digital.
