Recently in an interview with ‘The Howard Stern Show’ on Tuesday, the Hollywood charmer Ben Stiller revealed that he was diagnosed with a prostate cancer before two years when he was 48. So after a long time period of two years, the actor opened up about his struggle with a deadly disease of cancer.
Ben confirmed that his doctor were able to detect the cancer and cure it in right time.”It came out of as a shock for me. I had absolutely no idea. At first, I didn’t know what was going to happen. I was too scared,” Stiller told.
The ‘Zoolander’ star explained us why he decided to finally break the news to us. He wanted to talk about it because of the PSA or prostate-specific antigen test. He tells us that he feels the test has saved his life.He moved on further to explain in brief ‘what is the PSA test?’
He says, “A PSA test is a blood test typically used to screen males for prostate cancer. It’s the second most deadly cancer, but it’s about one of the most curable.”
The handsome actor tells that when he was first diagnosed for this cancer, he immediately called his clause friends including Robert De Niro who already fought bravely against Prostate cancer years ago.
“The first thing I did when I got diagnosed for prostate cancer was get on the internet to learn more about it. I saw De Niro had had it. I called him right away,” he explains.
Stiller married to actress Christine Taylor, also told the deadly news to his two children, daughter Ella and son Quinlin. “I told them I had something I had to deal with. They have a positive approach towards it now,” he said
