The Indian test captain Virat Kohli moved up to 3rd slot in Test rankings


The most talented cricketer Virat Kohli reached to his career’s best i.e. up to the third position in the latest Icc rankings for the batsmen after leading his team against England in Mohali.

In five test series against England, he started with rank 15th and finished with scoring 405 runs in three test matches with 3rd rank.And India is currently leading the series with 2-0.The 28 year old cricket stunner scored 62 and a six not out in the recent third test to move to 833 runs.

He is top ranked in T20 one day internationals and second in one day internationals. And now Kahli looks forward to improve his ranking further in the remaining two test matches against England.The another batsman to figure in best 10 was Cheeshwar Pujara, occupying the eighth slot which I headed by Australian captain Steve Smith.

England’s star cricketer Joe Root is at the second slot, scoring 14 more points than Kohli.And Ravindra Jadega is other Indian to feature in top 10 of both test bowlers’ and all rounders’ rankings.He holds 7th place in bowlers’ list and his career best 4th on all rounders’ list after scoring a crucial 90 in a test match in Mohali.
