The Producer Mahesh Bhatt has ended his long lasting silence on the controversy held with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in the wake of Uri terror attack. He made an instant appeal to Fawad Khan, asking for the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ actor to take a reasonable stand against in against of terrorism.
He said, “My siblings over the border who are themselves facing the casualties of militant attack need to take a reasonable position against dread when we bleed. Like when there was an assault on Peshawar and 131 kids were slaughtered, we in India wept because some of us felt what they were feeling. Stars are the same as any other person and I think in the event that you hold the mirror and make this inquiry, in certainty you do them a major support.
He further added, “I believe it’s the time when they have to take a stand for themselves. With collapsed hands and twisted knees, I request to Fawad and all actors who come here and stand on the same stage to entertain people to take a reasonable position and denounce terror when it happens on our soil. That would connect separations that abruptly get made in minutes like this.”
