Nayan Khanolkar Bags BBC Wildlife Photographer Award

On Wednesday,  Nayan Khanolkar who is a 42 year old man was awarded the prestigious Urban Wildlife Prize in London. The prize was awarded for his clicked picture “the Alley Cat”. The picture showcases a leopard who is sitting under the yellow bulb lit between two mud-splattered homes. The leopard stares directly into the lens.

The winner of the competition was Tim Laman, who captured a Bornean orangutan in the Indonesian rainforest.

Tomorrow, all the pictures will be showcased at the Natural History Museum in London. Post exhibition, these photographs will tour the world.
