David Cameron, Former British Prime Minister has revealed his new job after ending his political life that aims towards an extension of the National Citizen Service (NCS) for teenagers.
Setting up the NCS was his proudest achievement, with more than 275,000 people supporting it, said the former British PM in his article in Daily Telegraph on Tuesday. The aim of the NCS is to prepare the teenage group for work through community projects and team building activities. Cameron will himself be the chairman of NCS patrons. His new role would involve “bringing together a senior cross-party and cross-sector group of ambassadors and patrons who can help NCS to reach out to more youngsters”.
David Cameron was also delighted, his successor, Theresa May, was pressing ahead with same National Citizen Service Bill, which would give permanent legal footing to NCS and create more new duties on councils and schools to promote it.
