Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister said, “regardless of contrasts with Beijing, India’s association with China has “fortified”, while Pakistan has painted itself into a corner “by embracing terrorism as its state strategy”.
“There are sure perceptional contrasts with respect to the boundaries amongst India and China, however, the quantity of transgressions has lessened up to a greater extent. Then, again Pakistan is fixated on specific issues,” said the minister at the introduction of a two-day ‘Provincial Editors Conference’ in Chandigarh.
“Pakistan has overlooked the contrast amongst the freedom fighters and the terrorists. Most of the terrorist activities in India are supported from over the border…If Pakistan does not seem serious about battling with the terrorism then we Indian are prepared to help them destroy terror, yet their expectation is not that,” Rajnath added, alluding obviously to the Uri terror attack held a month ago.
