PM Narendra Modi Calls Donald Trump to Congratulate on His Victory


PM Modi spoke to Donald Trump, the US President -elect to congratulate on his victory, and hope that the US-India ties will touch new heights under the Trump’s presidency. External Affair Ministry representative Vijay Swarup clarify in his tweet that continuing efforts to build on the bedrock of powerful Indo-US ties. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, On Wednesday, spoke to Donald Trump in order to congratulate him on his victory.

He further added, “PM Modi successfully conveyed his best wishes to Trump. At the same time, both the leaders seem taking the Indo-US ties along with strategic partnership to the next level.” It’s the surprise victory where the Republican Donald Trump successfully defeats Democrat Hillary Clinton by a huge margin in order to become the 45th US President.

It’s interesting to watch, how the Donald Trump, president of world’s largest democracy will work to add glories to the Indo-US ties  after stating that India and China had grab occupations from Americans.
