On Thursday, Delhi Police arrested 4 from 5 accused youths who are alleged for gang rape charges of Delhi’s two teen girls from the Aman Vihar area the night before. It indicates that Delhi is not safe at all, especially for girls.
Both victims aged 17 and 18 respectively. When they were assaulted late on the Wednesday night, they were with their two male friends across an isolated spot near Mundka metro station, which is in the outer Delhi’s Kirari when the incident took place, stated by the Police personals.
Victim’s male friend’s attempt to beat accompanying boys and try to scare them away before they attempt towards raping their friends. 4 suspects among 5 were arrested by the police after identification on Thursday night. The 5th, though identified by police, is on the run.
All the suspects and the victims lived in the same locality but they don’t know each other. “A case under the protection of children from sexual offenses (POCSO) Act and India Penal Code was registered at the Aman Vihar police station,” said by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outside), Vikramjit Singh.
