Indian Cricketer Praveen Kumar joined the Samajwadi Party on Sunday just ahead of Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls. “I have met CM and decided to join the party. I will do whatever is possible for the party”, Kumar told the media personals after having a meeting with UP’s CM Akhilesh Yadav, who is also the state president of Samajwadi Party.
Hoping praise on Akhilesh Yadav, the right-arm medium pace bowler, Praveen Kumar who will be going to hail from Meerut, added, CM has done tremendous work for cricketers which you can analyze from his efforts to under constructed big cricket stadiums at Lucknow and Safari respectively.
Apart from sports, Praveen Kumar said, the CM has done a various remarkable work for all round development of Uttar Pradesh. Kumar who has been playing for UP cricket team in 1st Class cricket has been a successful member of Indian cricket team in 68 One Day International’s and 6 Test Matches, where he has scored 27 runs and 77 wickets respectively.
