India’s inborn fighter Tejas stole the show which left the audience enthralled on the occasion of 84th Air Force Day. The Air Force Day was celebrated at the IAF base at the Hindon Air Force Station in presence of Air Force Marshal Arup Raha, IAF chief.
The Red Arrows of UK’s Royal Air Force’s performance was also scheduled but it could not be executed due to haze which caused poor visibility.The Sukhoi jet was also displayed with air version Brahmos missile, close combat and radar guided missile, MiG-29 armed with a 30 mm cannon.
This Air Force Event was started with Akash Ganga Para jumping team. The air display also included vintage Tiger Moth and Harvard along with all advance choppers, fighters and transport aircraft.
As two Tejas Fighters were inducted, one was placed in the centre of the parade ground and the other one was flown by Group Captain Madhav Rangachari.
