The UEFA Champion’s League Final will be a Madrid derby


The UEFA Champions League is a very big event in club football in Europe.Champions League is the ultimate prize in club football after the respective league titles. And time and again, Champions League Football has witnessed intense matches, iconic goals, last-minute winners and historic penalties. And the 2015-16 season will see, two teams from the Spanish La Liga battle it out in the final on 28th of May, 2016 at San Siro in Milan. Real Madrid would face Atletico Madrid in one of the most exciting Madrid derbies ever for the Champion League title up for grab.

Real Madrid enter the final by defeating Manchester City 1-0 at the Santiago Bernabẻu Stadium after a goal-less draw in the first leg, while Atletico Madrid won the first leg against Bayern Munich in Spain and lost the second at the Allianz Arena.But Atletico Madrid booked a place in the finals on away goals. Gareth Bale for Real Madrid and Antoine Griezmann for Atletico Madrid shone as their teams cruised into the finals.

In the La Liga, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid currently have one point of difference between them. Barcelona and Atletico have the same points but Barcelona with a dominating goal difference is on the top of the table. Real Madrid just trail by one point and with two games to go, anything can happen in this exciting title race.

Talking about the UEFA Champions League Final, it would be another Spanish Team winning the cup. So that would be the 16th title to be won by a Spanish club of which 10 are won by Real Madrid. So, it would be a great display of football as we would see some of the big names in the football world fighting for the crown at the San Siro on 28th May. It would be a test of Atletico Madrid’s perseverance and it would be interesting to see if they win it after having come this far beating champion teams or Real Madrid pick up another title making it their 11th.
