Silver screen Owners and Exhibitors Association of India (COEAI) arrived at an unmistakable conclusion today on 14th October that they won’t screen movies with Pakistani actors. This decision brings bad news for the director Karan Johor who casts Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in his coming love-drama, ADHM.
This incorporates ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ that was slated for a Diwali release. “We have concluded that we will not go to release such movies in our multiplex that includes Pakistani actors,” added by the Nitin Datar, Chief of COEAI. The single screen proprietors in 4 states including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and some parts of Karnataka have accepted a call to put Karan Johar’s inevitable film on hold.
Let’s see, whether these obligations will be good or bad for KJo’s upcoming ADHM.
