In West Yorkshire, a disused telephone box was transformed into world’s smallest museum. The town association of Warley adopted the booth from BT in Calderdale. The exhibits include glass etchings, old photographs and personal items such as jewelry and other antique fashion items. WCA (Warley Community Association) has submitted an application for this museum to be included in “World’s smallest museum” in the Guinness Book of World Records.
The phone box is outside the Maypole Inn, which is a restaurant in the heart of the town. It was officially opened last week by Howard Blagbrough, Mayor of Calderdale, and Bankfield Museum manager, Richard MacFarlane.
